The Leeds Mela is now in its 11th year and attracts around 100,000 visitors. It is the biggest Asian event in Leeds and one of the largest in the country. The spirit of the event is about the celebration of Asian Culture and traditions.
As well as some of the best in Asian live music and entertainment the event still has the old favourites, from the funfair to the stall holders. However, there are a few added elements thrown into the mix. The celebration is set to end with an electrifying firework display.
There is something for everyone, which is very obvious when you see all the different generations and cultures coming together to enjoy a day packed with entertainment and fun.
